Relive one of the best deep house live sets this year

Lane 8 Live at Allphones Arena #ABGT150

It was not long ago since Above & Beyond had their big #ABGT150 night in sydney's allphones arena. It was a big night, they had quite a big crowd and great supporting acts such as Grum, ilan bluestone and of cource Lane 8.

The night started with Daniel (Lane 8) opening the whole show with a 1h set. It was a pretty perfect vibe, not too upbeat but not to slow and ductile at the same time. Since i love all the artists who peformed that night i can't really pick a favourite but i'll say that there couldn't have been a better lineup. Hopefully A&B will do a #ABGT200 in similar fashion, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Lane 8 recently became a part of the anjuna family where he has released some singles and now a full album. I've mentioned this on Sphere Lounge Radio but i think that album is one of the most outstanding ones i've heard this year.

The first track i heard by Lane 8 was his remix on Eric Prydz's "Liberate". The groove in that track was so amazing to me that I kept listening to it for a good month while driving around Stockholm in my jaguar during the summer of 2014. I of cource love the original just as much but they are quite different so it's not like it's easy to pick one of the versions.

Keep up the good work Daniel, hope to see much more of you in the future!
